Lucky Tiger
Lucky Tiger is the newest brand in our men’s section. All of their products have a light citrus scent. So far my favorite product from their line is the face scrub (#6). The scrub has a fine gentle grit texture to give skin a smoother texture and deeply cleanse the pores.
Pints for prostates
There was a great fund raiser this past weekend that was truly a lot of fun. This one involved lots of talent and some of my favorites in the business. Amber Hatchett in jewelry design, Amy Grooms in hair, Brooke Purdy in costume, Serenity, Scott, and Myself in makeup. And of coarse the oh so talented Parker J Pfister in photography. Summertime Travels
Summer vacations are just around the corner.
#1- Hand stitched Horween leather dopp kit. Stitched by Asheville’s Mountain Made Leather Goods this is THE dopp kit to have.
#2- Parker Safety Razor’s travel badger shave brush. Untwist the brush at the top, untwist the perforated bottom lid and slide the badger shave brush into the handle.
#3 – Taylor of Old Bond Street’s Etton College Collection shave cream. The shave cream gives a strong, gripping, creamy lather that makes for a smooth shave. The scent is matched with it’s aftershave.
#4 – Feather new Hi-Stanless Razor 10 pack. These blades are thought of as the sharpest blades out there. Some men recommend taking a wine cork and striking both sides of the blades just to take off that first shave.
#5 – Merkur 33c slim handle, open comb safety razor with knurled etching. For over a hundred years Merkur has been producing beautifully German-crafted razors using only the highest quality materials.
#6 – Taylor of Old Bond Street’s Etton College Collection after shave cologne. The scent is light, refreshing, and is of the classic gentleman.
Pretty in Pink!
I like the trends of color going on so I gathered up some of my favorite pinks from Serenity+Scott.
#1- Pink Bubbles(G10) a spearmint flavored, very opaque lip-gloss with high color impact. These glosses from Serenity+Scott more importantly do not have a sticky finish.
#2 Claire(S55) eye-shadow is a beautiful crease color. This color is actually named after Claire Danes from the tv series Homeland. Serenity and Scott meet with Homeland’s Makeup Artist and created this color for her character to wear for the show.
#3 Phlox(S35) eye-shadow gives a soft iridescent pink that looks great for a pink lid or as a soft crease color.
#4 Georgia Peach(S22) eye-shadow is one of my favorites to add to the crease. Soft and subtle gives warmth to lid or crease. I add this color on top of Georgetown (S28) a lot.
#5 Coral Reef(B5) blush is beautiful pop of color with just a hint of shimmer to give you that summer glow.
#6 Haute Pink(NL7) is what I call my Nicki Minaj pink. This pink delivers a powerful punch of color to the lip. Add this underneath Pink Bubbles and POW! you have a beautiful bold pink lip.
