My favorite thing about being a commercial makeup artist is the locations that I get to go on. Luckily I live here in Asheville, North Carolina that has a rich history and an even richer scenery. If you ever have heard of Asheville I am sure you have heard of the grand Biltmore house. Through working with Bonesteel films I have been apart of some amazing commercials and documentaries, both about the house and the family and the effects they have had on the surrounding areas. I grew up here in WNC and it seems that I learn more and more about our mountains every day. So this is what I have been up to for the past few weeks.
“The Forest History Society, in collaboration with the Cradle of Forestry Interpretive Association, is producing and distributing First in Forestry: Carl Schenck and the Biltmore Forest School. It will be the first documentary film to examine the pivotal role that the Biltmore Estate’s chief forester Carl Schenck and America’s first school of forestry played in American conservation history.” – foresthistory.org
