Asheville in August…

The miss beautiful Brooke Priddy from Ship to Shore asked me if I would lend my talents to what would be one of the funnest fashion shows this year. This fashion show was different from the rest here in Asheville because it was a benefit for LEAF (Lake Eden Arts Festival), a non profit connecting cultures and creating communities through music and arts.  The benefit raised over 11,000 dollars for LEAF in schools and streets.

“Guatemala and Mexico will receive new instruments, costumes for Rwanda, and Fredy, a teaching artist in Tanzania will be able to conduct a residency at another Roots & Shoots group in Arusha.” -leaf.org

For more information on how you can help LEAF international please click on their name and the link will take you to their webiste.

Other artists that helped on this project were the ladies and gents at Wink hair salon, miss Amber Hatchett of amber hatchett designes, and mister Parker J Pfister of parkerj photos.

Here are just a few pics of the evening.
